Retirement Courses
Retirement means twice as much husband on half as much money Anon
When you retire there’s maybe a third of your life yet to go, and it makes sense to give some thought to what is going to change in your lifestyle and how you cope with it. There are a number of organizations who run retirement (or pre-retirement) courses for groups or for individuals, and some of these are listed below.
We haven’t attended any of these courses, so it’s difficult to suggest a batting order for them. If you have experience of any of them, do let us know your views.
For background information on planning the sort of retirement that will suit you, see www.retirement-stories.com, which explains how an Irish businessman managed his challenging transition from Company Director to active retiree. It has stories and essential information to help you plan the retirement that's right for you.

Please note, Life Academy is not a charity, it is part of Wealth at Work a financial adviser firm that among other things markets it's own products. The charity side of Life Academy was closed down years ago
